Anna-Stina Treumund (1982–2017) was an Estonian photography artist. She graduated from the photography department at Tartu Art College in 2007 and the Master of Photography programme at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2010. In 2012, she continued her studies in gender studies at Linköping University in Sweden and in the creative doctoral program of the Estonian Academy of Arts. She also studied at the photography and media department at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and the Vienna Academy of Arts with professor Marina Gržinić. Anna-Stina Treumund was committed to recording women, especially lesbian women, in history, whether in literature, art, film or other cultural media. She co-founded the group Virginia Woolf sind ei karda! and helped to start the women’s culture festival LadyFest Tallinn.
