Laura Toots (b. 1986) is a curator and educator based in Tallinn. Toots studied at the Estonian Academy of Arts (MA 2011) and at the Aalto University School of Art and Design, Finland and Bergen National Academy of the Arts, Norway. Previously, Toots has been a Lecturer and Associate Professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Artistic Director of the Tallinn Photomonth contemporary art biennial, Curator and Project Manager at Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM) and Advisor to the Deputy Mayor of Culture at Tallinn City Government. Currently she works as a Community Development Officer at Tallinn Pelgulinna State Secondary School (PERG). 

In her various roles Toots has been interested in different collective working practices and experiences. She has organised projects large and small—from publications to art biennials—aiming to bring together different professionals for a wider exchange of ideas.
