Sohvi Viik-Kalluste (born 1991) is an Estonian artist based in Tallinn. She works across photography, video, sound, and installation. Her photographic practice often incorporates elements of abstraction and collage, while her broader work engages with themes of memory and the transience of time. Based on personal photographic material and family archives, Viik investigates how photographic images influence memory—how photographs construct, reshape, and sometimes operate independently of lived experience, affecting both memory and imagination. She graduated from the Photography Department of the Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) in 2014 and completed her MA studies in Installation and Sculpture (EKA 2016). Viik has also studied at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design in Norway. In addition to several solo exhibitions, she also has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
