Maarja Loorents the co-funder and head of exhibitions at Fotografiska Tallinn comments on the new exhibition and collaboration with the Estonian Union of Photography Artists: „We are delighted to display the works of more than 10 Estonian contemporary artists and support professional photographic art in reaching the homes of our people. It’s about time we start acquiring the works of local artists and photography as a medium really is the best for that. Every year Fotografiska Tallinn introduces the works of local artists in addition to international exhibitions – it’s an important mission that we want to grow even more in the future.”

The exhibition “FOKU Presents: Selection of Estonian Contemporary Photographic Art” at the Fotografiska Tallinn cafe and restaurant is open from May 19 until September 6, 2023.
